We realized that it will take some time before our second full-lenght “Solitary gates” will be released (the plan is to record it this fall), so this one is purely for you, the listeners - as a tiny sign of life. We are far, far from dead.
You can read about the backstory of the title-track in our previous post.
“Icarus..”, an instrumental was made January 2021.
“Black mass” was thrown out there as a potential idea for a coversong and we just went for it. As Bill Tsamis just passed away we thought it might be a fitting tribute to one of our grand musical inspirations.
“Phantom”, an old instrumental made for Black magic in, I guess 2011/12? Was never released so now was the time to re-record it and put it out there.
Drums for this EP were recorded pretty hastily under less than optimal conditions in our rehearsal space during one night and the songs were NEVER rehearsed before recording so what you hear is what you get !
