British Label famous for reprinting and releasing unknown archive recordings of very rare, very interesting and very British Progressive, Folk, Psychedelic, Underground, Esoteric and Jazz-Rock from 1965 to 1978. Active search for more recordings to release. He owns the permanent rights to many LP's, so the repertoire will remain in print indefinitely at lower price bands.

Seelie Court label features some of the rarest, most sought-after and expensive UK private prints and progressive rock and folk rock acetates from 1965 to 1978.

The releases are all 12 inch vinyl LP with rough and mostly openable covers. The first 4 versions were printed in Deepgrooves, but production was transferred to the legendary UK EMI pressing plant for all later versions after Deepgrooves proved inefficient and delivered only 300 copies of a 500 Ordered for an LP, and it took 3 months to print.

Most of the publications come from a private collection of super rare and often completely unknown British acetate and private print LP dating back to 1965-1978, the most precious LPs in existence. LP like Anaconda (post Arcadium) and Barney James (technically a third Warhorse LP) are undocumented and have been kept in a black box for decades. The label will release progressive rock and folk rock 1965-1978 and post punk / new wave 1976-1982 on a sub-label.

Audio restoration is by Reynolds Mastering, England. Designed and restored by a sector genius specializing in complex restoration techniques using the pure mastery gained in decades of experience, using a treasure trove of priceless analogue equipment ex BBC studios and the latest digital to perform sound miracles.

Label policy when burning from vinyl is that a superficial noise residue is preferable to excessive compression of music Many old reprints have destroyed high frequencies in search of ′′ silent operation ′′ using Cedar declicking programs etc. Seelie Court is aiming to maintain the power of original recordings. Some original materials are unique and severely damaged, these recordings are saved during the recovery process.

Recordings are issued with band members participation and final approval under contract.

The label has decided to release some recordings that it thinks are important when bands are unreachable or possibly deceased, these LP's are in the MMIA series (′′ missing musicians in action ′′) and are fully transparent.
Founded by a superior order of elves intent on destroying humanity and restoring the Faery Rule and Earth's Paradise. All money helps arm the Goblin armies to wipe out Midgard's homo sapiens infestation.

ANACONDA

This is a psychedelic folk masterpiece post ARCADIUM lost since 1969, only one original acetate LP exists, worth £ 7000 +, The lp has an intense pagan mood and deals with alienation themes, especially in Outsider ", sounds very similar to COMUS with BLACK WIDOW flutes and voice, violins but replaces Comus's insanity with a dark and popular melancholy. Short at 24 minutes. Probably the best prog-folk LP ever made, featuring songwriting and lead vocals by Miguel Sergides who made Arcadium's psych LP masterpiece. Genius of popular prog accomplished and meticulous

FLUX

Burning art rock monsterpiece dominated by an unrelenting lead guitar sound attack as if played by a demon-possessed John McLaughlin. Flux is former Babe Ruth, former Motiffe, with lead guitar by John Grimaldi before joining Argent and working on their prog ′′ Circus ′′ masterpiece. This LP is taken from a mono mastertape on a BBC Mobile Unit in a concert Live in 1973. A shocked Record Mirror journalist attended the concert and described it in a review published by Record Mirror as ′′ a new form of music ". The sound quality is excellent and this is a top-of-shape band who plays exactly what they want, in an area like King Crimson's ′′ Red ′′ but with a crazy guitar that kills the listener. The singer then joined Italian prog rockers Flea On The Honey. A very short track and four very long. IMPERDIBLE.

THE BECK STUDY ACETATE 1969 LP (album 12 "/ 10") UNKNOWN BAND.
These four extraordinary progressive / psychedelic tracks from an unknown band, cut in Northampton's Beck studios (circa 1969) and meant to be connected to Axe lead guitarist Anthony Barford (unconfirmed! ), They are among the greatest mysteries of British rock history. Music only existed on an acetate LP beat, but now there's a beautiful reprint, printed in an edition of 500 LP. If you're craving a mix of Uriah Heep, May Blitz with Grace from Jefferson Airplane, this reprint will be a spectacular discovery.

LIFEBLUD

Lifeblud was conceived as a band of 'Rock Poetry' and recorded this fabulous lp in acetate in 1970, the voice is serene and melancholy, and folky prog music, lyrics talk about the majesty of nature and often talk about issues Environmental, a line that describes humanity as a mushroom spreading across the planet. What sounds like a sitar is a guitar with a damaged bridge that created an accidental buzzing that they use with great effect. 3 copies of acetate were made in trusound studios, (which later became sky and then srt) 2 survive, one with legendary collector Hans Pokora in waste condition, the other is in Australia. This is phenomenally rare.

The highlights here are ′′ Oakenshade ", ′′ Ravens wing ′′ elasurprisingly beautiful ′′ Waxing of the Moon ", one of the deepest, most evocative and suggestive songs of the time.

Lifeblud recorded a 2th lp in acetate in 1970 but was lost. Fortunately the studio tapes from the 1971 sessions survive and will be released in 2021, capturing some of their best songs and the only track surviving from their heaviest phase, an extended folk rock song flooded with high tide like fuzz and distortion.
There is also a live tape recorded on a portable recorder from the back of a hall in 1971 and is carefully restored for possible release and approaches High Tide sound.

An exceptionally beautiful band that remained unreleased for half a century, but hard to define, coming from an Incredible String band, Donovan, Dando Shaft, Trees but with a prog rock twist.
THIS IS THE FIRST 3 TESORS.... More to come with time.

Στηρίζω με τα 5. Για το Anaconda τα έχω πει παλιά και σε εκπομπές. Θα επανέλθω σίγουρα.
