Ο Παυλάρας θέλει τη βοήθεια μας

Crowdfunding έχει ξεκινήσει για τον Παυλάρα ο οποίος πρέπει να χειρουργηθεί στα γόνατα και μάλιστα γρήγορα.

Όχι αυτή τη φορά δεν θα κράξω τα crowdfundings γιατί αγαπάμε Παυλάρα και γιατί η φάση γίνεται για καλό σκοπό.

Μάλιστα αυτό είναι το δεύτερο crowdfunding που παίζει γιατί το απαιτούμενο ποσό δεν έχει μαζευτεί.

Το όλο σκηνικό το τρέχει ο Kastro Pergjoni, υπεύθυνος της λονδρέζικης pub Cart & Horses, μέρος όπου το 1976 πραγματοποίησαν οι Iron Maiden το συναυλιακό τους ντεμπούτο.

Story

PART 1 we raised £13.1K and after the fees we received £12.6k ready to be used for Paul's operation. Thank you everyone for the donation.

PART 2 We're hoping to get £15k, from Paul's & our lovely friends around the world.

Cart & Horses (birthplace of Iron Maiden) is proud to help out one of our family member in anyway we can. Paul waited for the past 6 - 7 years to get this surgery done but now it looks the only way to get it done and quick is privately. We are trying to raise funds in a bid to get him walking again. Any amount which could be donated would be greatly appreciated. Please donate as much as you can so we can make it happen for Paul. We know times are hard for everyone now but every little helps. If we all get together we can make this happen for him. Paul has been in a wheelchair for about 8 years now and his condition is not getting better. Paul himself has spoken to a few private doctors in past year and he has been told that to operate both knees will cost him 26k. When we started this fundraising we thought if we could make £20k at least for him. Then if this total could not be reached the rest would be topped up by us at Cart & Horses Pub through doing few gigs when he pub reopens. We talked with Paul and said that the funds will go directly to the hospital/doctor that operates him. He was very emotional, happy and thankful for our contribution.

We will not stop until we make it happen for him, we have friends in the USA doing gigs in support. In Poland our friends are getting songs together in a LP disc and all the profit will be donated here. There are other bands here in the UK who are getting ready to do few gigs for Paul once they are allowed, we will get there.

Here is the private hospital website that Paul spoke to lately and it is the same price about £13k per knee, Paul likes to do the operation here as it is closer to his house as he can only travel in the ambulance and do short trips only.
