I have one recorded WW demo... we didn't get much further than that...
He tried to force me to come to the USA without proper touring work visa and do a tour with Anvil.
with a budget that didnt make sense and no reliable vehicle.
The bands van broke down midway and they had to start a go fund me to get going again... so i am glad i didnt.
Jon Leon faked Covid and went home after 2 or 3 shows.
It had disaster written all over it, and yes... the photos put me off right away, i knew he wasnt right in the head.

The band finished the tour without him... then renamed themselves Neon Dragon

Wasn't there an almost identical touring incident with him and the rest of (what was then) White Wizzard when they released 'Over the Top? I remember reading something about a UK tour (or EU - cannot remember which of the two) where basically from almost day 1 he was being a gigantic pain in the ass to the rest of the band? They ended up abandoning the tour I think...

I remember the whole situation with the back-and-forth Facebook announcements, it went on for a while!

They (he) had a fundraiser at some point up and running too for the (at the time but still) new record?

Something like that, and he asked me to come in then too... he's very good at convincing people that its everyone else thats the problem

Giles, I am a huge fan of WW: for me its one of the best bands that emerged from the retro movement. However I've heard stories about JL being total nuts. Sad, since I consider him to be talented enough to create future classic.

When i am home from the Girlschool / Alcatrazz / Raven tour (3 bands i manage) i will find the demo we did and post it.
Witch Riders i think it is called.
