Sadly, we were informed about the passing of Charles Hastert of STORMBRINGER.

The band was founded in 1990 as a three-piece by Charles Hastert (guitars, bass) with Leonard Brauchler (vocals) and Joe Starkovitch (drums). The 10-song tape "Stealer of Souls" (1993) was a cult classic that remained to obscurity and finally released on CD and vinyl by No Remorse Records in 2020. Inspired by Michael Moorcock and Elric of Melniboné, it was something more than US power metal; it was Champion Metal. And Charles was a champion of life too, having health problems for many years but with a strong will to live and passion for his music.
