After the openly Christian group announced it was calling its new disc "God Damn Evil", a number of people within the Christian rock and metal community went up in arms, accusing STRYPER of having gone too far.

Taking God's name in Vain is basic Blasphemy. This is the second time Michael Sweet desperately does something obscene in public since "The BLABBERMOUTH" article, that steps over the line of obvious contempt for God. No one says a word. What are your thoughts? Is it OK to do anything you want in our country now? Naming an album "GOD DAM* EVIL" must be hypocrisy if not "ALL OUT BLASPHEMY". No wonder Mike Sweet attacks me every chance he gets. He loves to send out his follower minions to attack & publicly humiliate you if you cross him. I have hundreds of messages from "EX-STRYPER" fans who have confided in me about Sweet. I will remain an "OLD SCHOOL" Christian, who never uses under-handed tactics no matter what. My wife just asked me...."What kind of Christian would buy an album that blasphemes the name of God"? "Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord Thy God in Vain". WOW...their album has been "BANNED" by the largest music vendor in the U.S. for religious desecration.

επειδή η παράνοια χτυπάει κόκκινο ρωτάω το εξής: το πρόβλημα είναι ότι χρησιμοποιούν την λέξη "god" στον τίτλο και με βάσει το δόγμα δεν μπορούν να επικαλούνται το όνομα του θεού μάταια;
